Al hacer una donación estarás apoyando a la conservación de las especies marinas de la península de Mejillones. Con tu aporte nos ayudas a seguir luchando por la preservación de la naturaleza marina, e incrementar la conciencia y educación ambiental en los pobladores de la región de Antofagasta a través de nuestras charlas y talleres educativos. También estarás ayudando a incrementar la investigación científica, la publicación de material científico informativo como por ejemplo, la recientemente publicada "Guía de identificación de la fauna marina de la península de Mejillones (2019)", que puede ser descargada gratis desde nuestro sitio web! (sigue el link más abajo) y permite aprender sobre 16 species de aves marinas, 12 mamíferos marinos y 4 reptiles marinos. Además, podremos seguir apoyando en acciones de rescate marítimo y emergencias relacionadas con accidentes de animales marinos. Otro de los puntos en los que estarás apoyando incluyen el turismo sustentable, limpieza de playas, estudio de la abundancia y distribución de especies marinas, y el trabajo en conjunto con pescadores artesanales, empresarios y autoridades locales para mejorar integralmente la condición del medio ambiente y la protección de la biodiversidad. Siendo miembro podrás asistir a las reuniones
mensuales que realizamos, podrás aportar ideas para actividades además
de participar activamente en limpiezas de playa, ferias y eventos,
charlas de educación ambiental y salidas de navegación para
investigación de fauna marina.

Donations
By making a donation you will be supporting the conservation of the marine species of the Mejillones peninsula. With your contribution you help us to continue fighting for the preservation of marine nature, and to increase environmental awareness and education in the inhabitants of the Antofagasta region through our educational talks and workshops. You will also be helping to increase scientific research, the publication of informative scientific material such as the recently published "Marine Fauna Identification Guide of the Mejillones Peninsula (2019)", which can be downloaded for free from our website (follow the link below) and allows you to learn about 16 species of seabirds, 12 marine mammals and 4 marine reptiles. In addition, we will be able to continue to support marine rescue actions and emergencies related to marine animal accidents. Other areas in which you will be supporting include sustainable tourism, cleaning beaches, studying the abundance and distribution of marine species, and working together with artisanal fishermen, entrepreneurs and local authorities to comprehensively improve the condition of the environment and the protection of biodiversity.
